Nick Varchetto - Site Development Project Manager
Nick Varchetto is the Site Development Project Manager at Engineering Resource Associates (ERA). He holds a professional engineering license and has over 10 years of experience in the engineering field. His primary role at the company is to manage the site development group and lead the design of all residential, commercial and/or industrial projects in our Warrenville office. He brings a diverse set of experience which includes: Planning, Stormwater Management, Commercial Retail Development, Subdivision Design, and Transportation design. He has helped developers, institutions and governmental agencies move their projects from concept, all the way to final construction.
Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 2009 after completing his engineering degree in only 3.5 years. He then worked for several years diligently learning engineering on heavy civil projects which included highways such as the Elgin/O’Hare/I-390 Tollway. When an opportunity arose to test his abilities at private site development, he took it and never looked back. As he states, “Roads tend to look the same from project to project, but developing a piece of land into the client’s dream offers an opportunity for a civil engineer to use his creativity and his knowledge to provide more value engineered solutions.” Nick resides in Bartlett, IL with his wife and four children. When he isn’t working he is typically going on adventures with his kids or trying to find time to play a round of golf. |
