Founded in 1990, ERA is a full-service civil engineering, structural design, environmental science and surveying firm serving clients throughout the Midwest. With offices in Warrenville, Chicago, Champaign and Milwaukee, ERA offers diverse experience on a wide variety of projects for diverse clientele including municipalities, park districts, forest preserve districts, sanitary districts, county agencies, and state agencies.
A unique characteristic of ERA is our project approach of integrating engineering design, environmental improvements, and aesthetic appeal into a coordinated effort. Our professional planners, engineers, and scientists work closely together to ensure that these issues are addressed throughout the design, permitting and construction phase of a project. Our professional staff includes licensed professional engineers, structural engineers, environmental scientists, engineers-in-training, surveyors, engineering technicians, and support personnel. The ERA team consists of qualified professionals experienced in plan review, master planning, Phase I & II design and construction of municipal, county and state projects. ERA is fully equipped with state-of-the-art survey equipment, MicroStation, AutoCAD, GIS technology, stormwater analysis modeling tools and design software.
