Melissa Lange - Structural Project Manager
Melissa Lange is the Structural Project Manager at Engineering Resource Associates (ERA). She holds both a professional engineering and structural engineering license and has over 20 years of experience in the structural engineering field. Her primary role at the company is to manage the structural engineering group and lead the design of all structural related projects in our Warrenville office. Her experience specifically includes Phase I/II design of highway bridges, pedestrian bridges, box culverts, retaining wall projects and structural inspection services for municipalities, county highway departments and state agencies throughout Illinois.
Melissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University in 1998 and received her Master of Science in Structural Engineering in 2000. She has completed several technical training courses to further her expertise in the structural engineering field including the NHI Course for Design and Curve Steel Bridges with LRFD, IDOT’s Course on Calculating Section Loss in Steel Members, as well as regular attendance at the IDOT/ACEC bridge seminars. Melissa resides in Glen Ellyn, IL with her husband (also an engineer) and three children. When she isn’t working you can typically find her at one of her children’s sporting events cheering them on. She also regularly travels to the east coast to visit family where she originally grew up in New York. |
