ERA Selected for Fulton County Hwy. 2 Design and Replacement Project

F​ULTON COUNTY, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) was selected by the Fulton County Highway Department to complete design services for the replacement of the double box structure carrying County Highway 2 over Tater Creek near Ipava, Illinois. The existing cast-in-place structure is in poor condition and will be replaced with a bridge structure, along with new approach roadway work on each end of the bridge to improve sight distances.
 
ERA has provided structural design, inspections and forensic investigations for counties, municipalities, forest preserves and park districts throughout northern and central Illinois. Recent assignments have included: Williams Road/Mack Road Bridge Inspections (City of Warrenville), Thunderbird Bridge Inspection (Village of Carol Stream), Safety Structure Inspections (Champaign County Highway Department), Wind Farm and Township Highway Bridge Inspections (Vermilion County Highway Department), and On-Call Bridge Design Services (McHenry County Highway Department).
