West Solon Road over N. Branch Nippersink

ERA is providing Phase I and II engineering services for the replacement of the West Solon Road over N. Branch of Nippersink (SN 056-3142) using federal funds. The Solon Road crossing is located adjacent to the Glacial Park State Natural Area and has several protected species including the Blanding’s turtles and two freshwater mussel species. The existing structure is a hydraulic restriction, requiring a raise in profile to meet the 1-foot of clearance over the 20-year storm. The Phase I engineering consists of a Project Development Report (PDR), Bridge Condition Report (BCR), Hydraulic Report, Wetland Delineation and Environmental assessments, Plats & Legals and public coordination. Phase II engineering services included utility coordination, permitting, ROW Plats & legals, Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E) and time of construction.
