Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) is established in a basement office at 529 W. Roosevelt Road in Wheaton, IL. The firm offers civil engineering and surveying services to public and private clients.

ERA successfully completes its first project, Washington Park Infrastructure Improvements for the Village of Bensenville.

ERA moves to a larger office in a historic building at 214 W. Willow Avenue in Wheaton, IL.

ERA marks the completion of its 100th project, providing surveying services for Airhart Construction.

ERA celebrates the completion of its 500th project, providing services for the Village of Lombard’s Lombard Hills East/Pleasant Lane School Improvements.

ERA reaches a significant milestone, expanding to 25 employees—a reflection of its growing expertise and strong client relationships.

ERA completes its 1,000th project for Commercial Group's Wenmoth Road development in Batavia, IL.

ERA expands its services to include environmental science and ecological consulting.

ERA relocates to an even larger office space at 3S701 West Avenue, Suite 150 in Warrenville, IL.

ERA acquires the structural firm of John Frauenhoffer & Associates and opens a new office at 3002 Crossing Court in Champaign, IL.

​ERA completes their 3,000th project for Wheaton Park District’s Cosley Zoo, improving pig and chicken exhibit infrastructure for stormwater drainage.

​ERA expands to a larger office at 2416 Galen Drive in Champaign, IL to support its growing team and commitment to serving clients.

​ERA celebrates 25 years of service as internal ownership transitions, with Jon Green taking on the role of President. 

​ERA completes their 5,000th project providing a Drainage Ditch Assessment for the City of Elmhurst.

​ERA celebrates 30 years of service offering hybrid work solutions to staff. ERA also launches its first charitable giving campaign, matching employee donations to local organizations.

​ERA opens a satellite office in the Third Ward at 342 N. Water Street in Milwaukee, WI and becomes pre-qualified with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

​ERA expands its team to 50 talented professionals, strengthening its ability to deliver exceptional engineering solutions.

ERA has its third expansion to date for their Warrenville headquarters preparing for the firm’s growth over the next decade. To date, the firm has completed over 8,300 projects.
