ERA’s forensic engineering capabilities consist of the investigation and evaluation of performance problems of materials, infrastructure, structures, and buildings.  Our investigations cover a wide range of possible failures related to structural member capacities, material deterioration, construction defects, or geotechnical movements.  We have provided forensic engineering and structural inspection services throughout the United States for numerous insurance companies, homeowners associations, public and private clients, and governmental entities to assist in the resolution of property damage claims related to fire and  wind damage, flood and erosion damage, snow overloads, impact damage, and construction related defects.  As a part of these services, has worked with attorneys throughout the country to provide expert witness testimony in depositions and trial proceedings.
