ERA provided construction engineering services for watermain improvements in the Village of Glen Ellyn. The project involved installing 3,600 feet of watermain along Park Boulevard south of Roosevelt  Road, a crucial route serving various facilities and residents. Other work included installing all new water service lines and improvements  to hydrant spacing to better serve the residents and adjacent school property. Stakeholder involvement was significant, including coordination with  the public works department, residents, and businesses to ensure access and service continuity during construction. Special attention was given to minimizing water shutoffs to accommodate stay-at-home and work-from-home orders. Detailed construction staging plans were coordinated with the contractor and monitored on a daily basis to ensure three lanes of traffic were maintained throughout construction.
