ERA’s transportation engineers will provide Phase I and II engineering services in Glen Ellyn, Illinois
GLEN ELLYN, Ill. – Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) was selected by the Village of Glen Ellyn’s Public Works Department for the Hawthorne Corridor Improvements Project. ERA will provide Phase I, and Phase II design services for the complete reconstruction of Hawthorne from Ellyn Avenue to the City of Wheaton boundary, along with several intersecting streets.
ERA’s transportation engineers will provide comprehensive services including underground improvements in the water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems. This project will require coordination between the Village of Glen Ellyn, the City of Wheaton, Glen Ellyn Park District, Glen Ellyn School District 41, Glenbard High School District 87, two local churches, fire department, police department, ComEd, and corridor stakeholders.
ERA has an extensive history working for the Village of Glen Ellyn that includes over 20 miles of roadway improvements. ERA and the village recently collaborated on the award-winning Parkside/Summerdale Infrastructure Improvements project.
