ERA will walk attendees through the latest trends in the development process and describe new requirements

LOMBARD, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) is hosting a free session for current and prospective clients. Marty Michalisko, PE, CFM will moderate the session “From Idea to Reality: The Civil Engineering Process,” on Wednesday, November 18 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Fairfield Inn & Suites at 665 W. North Avenue in Lombard. Mr. Michalisko has over 11 years of experience and serves as a project manager and project engineer on transportation, infrastructure and drainage engineering projects. In addition to his familiarity with site design standards and stormwater ordinance requirements for northeast Illinois communities, he has extensive knowledge with commonly used hydrologic and hydraulic programs.

During the session, ERA staff will walk attendees through the latest trends in the development process and describe new requirements. Emphasis will be placed on floodplain requirements. Participants will learn about a number of free resources that are available before a project begins, typical timeframe expectations, and questions civil engineers need answered.
