ERA retained by Oakbrook Terrace-based Matocha Associates

LAKE ZURICH, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) has been retained by Oakbrook Terrace-based Matocha Associates to provide site civil engineering and land surveying services for the Peapod Warehouse expansion in the Lake Zurich Commerce Center.

The existing 95,000-square-foot Peapod warehouse will be transformed into a distribution center using the latest technology to provide completely automated service to fulfill Peapod customer orders. The 90,000-square-foot expansion will include a parking lot designed for 95 cars, over 25 delivery trucks, and loading docks.

ERA’s responsibilities for this project include analyzing the stormwater management design, the design of domestic watermain and fire service extensions, and integrating water quality best management design features into the site to promote water quality enhancements.  ERA will prepare land survey platting services including site ALTA Survey, Topographical Survey and Plat of Resubdivision.
