ERA helps secure additional funds for the Warrenville Road Reconstruction Project (Phase II and III)
WARRENVILLE, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) recently completed and submitted a grant application to assist the City of Warrenville secure additional funds for the Warrenville Road Reconstruction Project (Phase II and III). This intentionally designed "green" project includes a mile of permeable pavers and is likely the first municipal-paid, public roadway project of this type. ERA's application requests $280,000 in Federal funding (which would be issued through the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency) to help assure that the environmental components of the project are constructed. Once completed, the "green" elements of the Warrenville Road Reconstruction Project will directly benefit the West Branch DuPage River by reducing surface run-off rates and river pollution.
