ERA completed DuPage County's water quality best management practices manual

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) recently completed development of a water quality best management practices manual for DuPage County, Illinois. County officials plan for the manual to become the guiding water quality document for DuPage County’s countywide stormwater management program. Once available for public use, the manual will effectively convey the necessary technical information to help effected individuals and organizations comply with the countywide NPDES Permit for the DuPage MS4 communities and to help meet the water quality goals of the DuPage County Stormwater Management Plan.

A particularly challenging aspect of this project that ERA successfully addressed was the identification of economical practices that were effective and appropriate for the County’s physical geography while guiding a diverse community of stakeholders.
