ERA to provide civil engineering design services for a new 15-acre single-family residential development in the Lake Zurich, Illinois
LAKE ZURICH, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) has been retained to provide civil engineering design services for a new 15-acre single-family residential development in the Village of Lake Zurich. The project shall consist of 37 lots, along with a wet-bottom stormwater management facility. Through final engineering design, ERA’s goal is to establish a mass-grading earthwork balance to reduce costs for the developer while, at the same time, providing a significant amount of “look-out” or “walk-out” options for the builder. This project will also require the use of a sanitary sewer lift-station. ERA, as part of the initial design stage, has contacted several pump manufacturers to discuss preliminary loading estimates and requirements. ERA will provide assistance in securing permits from the Village of Lake Zurich, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), Lake County Public Works Department, and the Lake County Stormwater Management Department.
