ERA completed final engineering design and permitting for Westminster Crossing of Wayne
WAYNE, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) has completed final engineering design and permitting for Westminster Crossing of Wayne, a 13-lot residential subdivision in DuPage County. With existing wetlands at the northeast corner of the site, ERA teamed with a wetland specialist in designing a clay-lined, wet-bottom stormwater management facility. ERA utilized TR-20 models to verify restricted flows from the new detention pond would provide adequate runoff to maintain the existing wetlands, while ensuring required buffer areas were maintained. In addition to providing DuPage County a full-tab stormwater submittal, the rural-street specifications offered ERA an opportunity to design rear-yard septic field systems.
