ERA to provide civil engineering design services for a new single-family residential development in the Village of Orland Park
ORLAND PARK, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) has been retained to provide civil engineering design services for a new single-family residential development in the Village of Orland Park. With the project being located along Southwest Highway, ERA will be responsible for securing an Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Highway permit, in addition to standard Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC), Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), and Village approvals. The 12-lot subdivision provides a unique challenge for ERA, as stormwater detention and an earthwork balance must be established despite an existing 30-ft. elevation difference across the site. ERA's goal is to provide an aggressive land plan approach to design a functional residential subdivision while keeping development costs at a minimum.
