ERA selected by the Village of Glen Ellyn for the Wingate Basin improvements

GLEN ELLYN, Ill. - The Village of Glen Ellyn has initiated a major capital improvement program to upgrade the condition of roadway and infrastructure facilities throughout the village. The $12 million, 6 year program represents over a 300% increase in annual capital improvement spending. The village recently solicited engineering proposals from over 20 consulting firms to provide design engineering services for projects included in the program. Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) was selected for the largest a most high profile project, Wingate Basin Improvements. This $4.5 million project includes construction of a new large diameter storm sewer system and roadway reconstruction along 21,000 feet of residential and collector roadways. The project will be constructed in two phases beginning in 2003. ERA was selected based upon its extensive experience on similar projects, familiarity with Glen Ellyn and IDOT standards, and the high quality of services on previous projects.
