ERA to design sanitary sewer improvements to bring service to 110 homes in the Glen Ellyn Woods North neighborhood

MILTON TOWNSHIP, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) was selected by the DuPage County Department of Public Works to design sanitary sewer improvements to bring service to 110 homes in the Glen Ellyn Woods North neighborhood in unincorporated Milton Township. The area is currently served by wells and septic fields. As the septic systems have aged, residents have experienced increased problems with saturated ground and failed system operations. The proposed improvements will include construction of over 11,000 feet of new sanitary sewers within existing rights of way. Special construction techniques will be utilized to minimize impacts to mature trees along the sewer alignment. The construction cost is approximately $2.1 milliion.
