ERA selected by IDOT District Five to provide design engineering services for the reconstruction and realignment of US Highway 45
PARIS, Ill. - Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) was selected by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), District Five to provide Phase II design engineering services for the reconstruction and realignment of US Highway 45 in Rantoul, Illinois. Rantoul is the home of the recently closed Chanute Air Force Base. This $3.5 million project will include a realignment of the intersection of US 45 and Century Boulevard. The project also includes the reconstruction of a 0.8-mile section of US 45 and a 0.5-mile section of Century Boulevard. Other improvements include new traffic signals, street lighting and storm sewer upgrades. Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2003.
